A bit about her.
Culinary-Ness is just an ordinary working executive in the marketing industry who stumbled across her passion for cooking and baking by chance.
It all started with whipping up a carrot cake one day when she was bored at home, it turned out to be a success and that gave her the confidence to try out different cake recipes. She brought these cakes to work, and “forced” her colleagues to try them.
From there…she started baking cakes once a week for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. The weekly cake sales became so popular, people started trying to reserve them before they went on sale and soon her real name (Vanessa Frida) was replaced with Cake Girl.
Slowly, she ventured to savoury dishes and you can say the rest was history. The journey has been so enjoyable, she just wants to share her passion for cooking with others.
Culinary-Ness believes that homecooked meals don’t have to be complicated, they can be done after work with some simple planning. Nothing beats sitting down and enjoying a homecooked meal with your loved ones.
If you are expecting a Martha Stewart like lady, you are in for a surprise. Culinary-Ness is as comfortable fiddling around with pots and pans as she is hanging out with friends enjoying a tipple after work.
